I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was in a great location, close to the High Street but still tucked away for privacy. The cottage itself was adorable and felt very homely. The owners had thoughtfully provided lovely little touches like soap candles and a basket of treats to make us feel welcome. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking, including good appliances. The main bedroom and sitting room were very comfortable, and the cottage had been renovated to a high standard with top-quality fixtures and fittings. The linens and towels provided were from a well-known brand. Additionally, the cottage was perfectly situated for exploring different areas in the Peak District, making it an ideal base for our week-long stay.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The cottage lacked a clothes washer, which would have been useful for longer stays.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was so relaxing! I had a lovely soak after a long day exploring. As a guest with disabilities, it made me feel comfortable and at ease.
Personally, I preferred the bathroom with a shower. That's just my opinion though, others may find the bath or shower combo enjoyable.

Ardeevin Cottage in Buxton is just a stone's throw away from the buzzing Buxton Opera House and a short drive to the magnificent Chatsworth House. The cottage itself is absolutely charming and filled with delightful touches that made our stay truly special. It had everything a family could need, from a well-stocked kitchen with top-quality appliances to comfortable bedrooms that felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas in the Peak District and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
My children wanted a small playground nearby for some outdoor fun.
